Since 2018, Trusted Companion has been offering senior care services with social and emotional support that help clients live happy, healthy, and independent lives at home. Services are delivered with kindness, respect, reliability and genuine warmth at your home, Long Term Care, or Retirement Facility in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and surrounding communities.

Trusted Companion offers a wide range of helpful senior care services designed to support you and your loved ones in maintaining their independence, dignity, and well-being. We develop meaningful relationships with clients and offer their families transparency through regular updates.

Aging in place is the ability to live safely and independently in your own home or community as you age. It involves planning ahead and having access to the necessary health and social support services.

Please click on Get Started. We offer three contact methods: online form, email, or phone. Once connected, we'll discuss your care needs and arrange a free consultation (family welcome). We'll come to your home at your convenience. We will work with you to create a customized care plan. Our visit is complimentary and there is no obligation.

With our client's permission, we offer their families transparency through regular updates.

All Trusted Companion caregivers are carefully screened with criminal background checks and vulnerable sector checks. In addition, educational credentials are confirmed. All caregivers are insured with liability.

  1. Professional liability in case a client is somehow injured due to caregiver negligence.
  2. Fidelity bond in case something is broken or stolen in the client’s home by one of our caregivers.
  3. WSIB/worker’s compensation in the event that a caregiver is injured in a client’s home.

The minimum service requirement is two hours.

At Trusted Companion there are no contracts. We have a 24-hour or more cancellation policy to cancel our senior care services.

Trusted Companion's staff are trained in emergency policies and procedures. In the event of an obvious emergency, our caregivers call 911, secure the environment to avoid further injury. Family members/emergency contacts are contacted immediately.
